Territory Sales Manager
Description
Full time salaried position to work in agricultural manufacturer and distributor managing a territory in the Sales Department.
Requirements:
A bachelors degree in Ag Business or Marketing and 5+ years sales experience.
Responsibilities:
Maintain adequate sales level in a given territory, including profitability and gross margin.
Produce price quotes and sales orders as needed
Working with Monosem Assembly teams to meet specifications of customer/dealer
Follow through with payments from dealer
Approximately 25-30% travel involved
Traveling with and assisting sales representatives and dealers in that area
Attending farm shows and open houses
Spend time in the field with machines, with feedback as to improvements needed, or new ideas
Handling warranty claims produced by dealers in territory
Qualities/Abilities:
Good communications skills
Ability to work independently
Willing to travel
Can follow procedures
Computer proficient
Aptitude for technical machinery
Background in agriculture preferred |
